Ancient stone mill wheel in the courtyard of the farm stay

Our story

A family, a plot of land in the Cilento National Park and the wish to bring it to life.

From a wooded plot to an organic farm

In Moio della Civitella, in the Cilento National Park, Cavalier Vincenzo Piluso decided to buy a plot of land managed by a forestry company called Il Tronco. Agriturismo Civitella was born and grew from an innovative business idea based on respect for the land and for quality.

The Piluso family, with commitment, passion and dedication, improved the whole area: they made the roads leading to the land passable, had the electricity and gas systems installed and built drip irrigation for the fields and the olive trees.

This is how the production of organic extra virgin olive oil began, known today as Moio Oil.
